Within 24 hours of applying with EasyETA, you will receive a confirmation e-mail regarding your ETA visa status given to us by the Australian Department of Immigration & Citizenship. We would like to help you become more familiar with what information is important as a visa holder.

Australian Visa Approval - Detailed Information
After you have been granted approval by the Australian Department of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC),
we provide you the following information in our confirmation email to you.Example of a direct response from Australian immigration and is proof that your Australian ETA visa has been approved.
- Family Name: Family Name / Surname
(suffixes - Jr., Sr., Bin/Binte, Mr/Mrs, etc. will NOT be listed) - Given Names: Each of your names that is listed on your passport. Anything NOT on your passport should not appear here
- Passport: Your 9 or 10 character passport number, nationality of passport and expiration date
(GBR = Great Britain, MYS = Malaysia, USA = United States, SGP = Singapore, etc.) - Date of Birth, Sex, COB: You should see your gender as M/F (Male/Female) and Country of Birth listed in its 3-digit country code.
- Type of Travel: V = Visitor/Tourist, BS = Business Short-Validity, BL = Business Long-Validity
- Entry Status: This is simply the response that we receive from the DIAC. Most importantly, it will list the day in which your visa expires.
- ETA Approved/Not Approved: If you are approved, we will notate that in our e-mail and will be seen at the bottom of the confirmation

Correcting a Mistake Made on Your Application / Visa
All of the information you submitted to us on the visa application form was passed directly into the DIAC system as it was entered on your visa application. If there is a mismatch between what is listed on your passport and what appears on your ETA approval screenshot, you will need to contact us to make an amendment.
How do I get my visa fixed? (2 steps):
Step 1) First, click PayNow on our visa amendment payment page. We charge $2.95 AUD for reprocessing of all visas.
Step 2) Let us know what changes are required via the amendment page contact form. You may also e-mail amendments@easyeta.com.That's it!
